HACCP Quality & Compliance Controller

About the role:

We are on the hunt for a dayshift HACCP Quality and Compliance Controller to join our clients team at their state-of-the-art facility in Rochedale. You will be a vital cog in their quality assurance team and, ideally, will have previous HACCP certification, however out client is open to upskilling the right candidate who has worked in this space previously.

Duties:

Reporting to management and the site administration supervisor, you will:

• Monitor, report and assist in controlling sites quality system ensuring that you are completing necessary checks to ensure standards are maintained
• Collaborate with the management team and employees to maintain site HACCP compliance
• Perform, plan and assist in sampling, inspecting and routine audits and effectively communicating findings
• Engage with external companies to ensure that there is sufficient chemicals and accessories on-site at all times
• Administrative duties, including SAP data entry and reporting into quality, safety and productivity system
• Complete corrective action reports for any non-conformance

Skills and experience:

• Effective written and verbal communication skills
• Positive self motivator who can effectively work well in teams
• Excellent time management skills with the ability to prioritise tasks
• Basic computer skills, SAP experience (highly desirable)
• Well developed attention to detail with a safety first mindset
• HACCP trained or certified (advantageous)
• Knowledge of critical control points and data capturing
• Ability to pass a medical & drug and alcohol screen prior to placement
