Reporting to the Senior Hatchery - Performance Manager, the Hatchery Operations Manager will be responsible for Hatchery Operations in a new and technologically advanced facility based in our Queensland Prawn Farm. You will lead, manage, and direct a team to produce high quality post-larvae. You will align your team's work with the objectives and strategic plans of the business, and support and promote the implementation of our ongoing blueprint and strategy.
What does your week look like?
Leadership and Direction: Provide leadership and clear direction aligned with the strategic plan. Train and develop reporting staff to foster collaboration and continuous improvement.
Biosecurity Protocols: Implement and maintain biosecurity protocols.
Data Analysis and Budgeting: Analyse production technical data and budgets. Manage operational and capital expenditure budgets to achieve KPIs
Operational Improvement and Innovation: Identify areas of improvement and innovation in daily and long-term operations. Seek operational innovation and promote forward-thinking Hatchery Operations.
Operational Excellence and Workplace Safety: Maintain operational excellence while ensuring a safe and inclusive workplace.
