The Role
As the Head Chef you will be passionate, creative and lead the team in menu development, introducing new ingredients and finding new ways to work with traditional Japanese ingredients. Prior experience in a Japanese or Japanese Fusion restaurant would be an advantage but experience running a busy kitchen is essential. This is a great, high energy restaurant with a professional team in the kitchen.
Skills & Experience
Previous experience training and developing a team
Experience in menu creation and costings
Excellent communication skills with boh, foh and suppliers
Passion for food
Previous experience with rosters, ordering, stock control
