FLOCK at the Carrington is a superb Gastro Pub with stunning beer gardens located in a heritage building in beautiful Bungendore NSW just 3.5 hrs south of Sydney 30mins from Canberra and 2 hours to the coast.
The successful applicant will have the energy and the experience to continue improving what has become a popular venue in the area. We are looking for a individual who can inspire, train and manage our enthusiastic kitchen team.
We are looking for a individual who can be creative in their food offer. You and your team must take pride in every plate leaving the pass.

The Role
- Responsible for menu planning and costings
- Hands on training and positive motivation of kitchen team
- Maintain excellent food quality, presentation and cost control whilst maintaining high company standards
- Be proficient in all areas of cooking and kitchen management
- Be creative in your food offer and always strive for improvement
Your Requirements
- Motivated individual to take charge of the small team
- Availability across a 5 day working roster
- Previous P & L exposure and financial understanding to ensure profitability and success.
- Strong communication skills with a focus on staff development and harmonious relationship with FOH
- Motivation, focus and drive
- Ability to create, cost and implement seasonal menus
- Must have Food Safety Certificate
- Hands on & comfortable in a high volume kitchen
- Previous Head chef experience essential with relevant references
