We are looking for a Head Chef to join and lead our kitchen team.
Working closely with the General Manager you will:
Manage and drive the venue’s kitchen and catering activities. You will be responsible for leading our kitchen team in the production and delivery of high-quality dishes, ensuring the smooth operation of the kitchen.
Responsibilities include:
- Planning and preparing all kitchen requirements for the delivery of quality and consistent meals.
- Managing food costs, budgets, staffing and rostering for the kitchen operations.
- Monitor and manage all WHS and hygiene standards in the kitchen, and resolve or escalate incidents or concerns as necessary.
- Creating, planning and implementing bistro and function menus.
About you
- Minimum 2 years’ experience in a similar role.
- Experienced leading a busy kitchen team.
- A collaborative approach with management.
- A keen eye for the detail.
- Excellent communicator.
- Great time management.
- Innovate and flexible.
- Have working rights in Australia – sponsorship would be considered for the right candidate.
