Energy Power Systems Australia is the Cat® engine and generator dealer for Australia, Papua New Guinea and the Solomon Islands. EPSA sells and rents Cat® products and also designs, engineers and commissions a range of turnkey products and applications. We serve a diverse range of markets, including mining, construction, agriculture, government, marine, transportation, and commercial. Our future is aligned with leading the way for renewable energy with Cat® Hybrid Energy Systems incorporating solar and battery energy storage.
In this newly created position reporting to the Managing Director, the Head of Customer Experience will create an overarching, enterprise wide view of the customer and drive a coordinated, proactive approach to customer management.
Whilst relationships at an operational, transactional level in each of the business units are strong (as validated by consistent sales growth), an opportunity presents to develop the customer strategy and instil an integrated approach to customer management, leveraging the full capacity of all business units, the Dealer network and the Caterpillar organisation.
Leading a small Marketing team, in a facilitation style position you will partner with business unit General Managers, championing cross business initiatives and pursue revenue growth opportunities and product adoption, as you build strong alignment with the ELT and peers across Business Development, Sales, Product and Finance.
Tertiary qualified, you have well rounded industrial experience, ideally at a Group level supporting different businesses or products and services. With a strong understanding of the complexity and nuances of different market segments, you have the ability to develop a customer journey lifecycle that is strategically tailored and operationally executed. Possessing advanced relationship management and influencing abilities, functional experience to date is likely to include Marketing, Account Management and Sales (technical product and solution based).
