The Role
As the Head of Digital, your primary responsibility will be to develop and implement digital strategy across all platforms whilst guiding the Digital team in the planning, development, and execution of a comprehensive digital strategy aimed at enhancing visibility, lead generation, and bringing the overarching digital roadmap to life.
The role requires a strong leader with proven experience managing teams, juggling multiple high-level projects at one time, researching and justifying digital partner selection as well as developing and negotiating multi-faceted media and marketing partnerships. The ideal candidate must also think strategically and work collaboratively with the rest of the business, whilst driving 'Innovative Best Practice' with Data-Driven Decision Making.
Key focus areas include:
- Develop, drive and implement NGS digital strategy and roadmap in alignment and conjunction with overall customer experience strategy.
- Act as digital SME to the Fund while leading the Digital team in developing end-to-end delivery of multiple digital projects, providing strategic direction, concept development and design rollout of Digital projects from inception to implementation.
- Lead the digital services by ensuring high standards and good governance of the entire digital estate (including the website, mobile apps, social media, email, advertising, search, CRM and all other aspects of Digital).
- Work with the Chief Experience Officer to develop and implement the digital strategic roadmap.
- Lead and manage the Digital team, providing guidance, mentorship, and fostering a culture of innovation and continuous improvement.
- Manage the performance management process for direct reports to ensure that individuals meet agreed KPIs, meet training and development requirements, re-affirm their commitment to, and understanding of, organisational objectives, values, and behaviours.
- Oversee digital marketing efforts, including SEO, SEM, email marketing, content marketing, social media, and online advertising campaigns.
- Lead the management of Google tag manager for tag deployment and Observepoint for tag auditing and governance.
You have
- Qualifications at an appropriate level in a relevant discipline i.e. Bachelor’s degree in one of the following disciplines: Business Studies, Finance or Digital as well as expert technical knowledge in digital production.
- A proven track record of effective customer delivery including methods to retain and grow customers.
- Demonstrable experience of integrated digital marketing technologies and services.
- Strong customer focus, gained in a competitive marketplace.
- Commitment to maintaining a current knowledge of new initiatives in respect of customer engagement within the finance/ superannuation and/or related sectors.
- Strong written, spoken communication and negotiation skills.
- Demonstrated commitment to achieving the needs of customers (members and employers).
- Experience in managing outsourced provider relationships to ensure the delivery of agreed service standards.
- Ability to build strong internal and external relationships.
Desirable
- Experience in superannuation.
- Post Grad Online Digital Production.
