-About this roleThe Head of Unit directs and controls the operations of the clinics comprising Special Dental Service. As well as managing clinics and maintaining equipment, you will also provide routine and advanced clinical treatment to eligible patients. You will develop epidemiological data for the clinical area and initiate relevant community dental care programs aimed at improving dental health in the community by liaison with dentists, service organisations, education and local authorities and relevant community groups.The role will involve consultation and advance levels of care for patients that exhibit comples medical, dental or behavioural histories.This role reports to the Regional Dental Officer - Education and Special Dental Services.What we are looking forWe are seeking an enthusiastic and suitably qualified Dentist, eligible for registration with the Dental Board of Australia.
