Sirrom Integrated Facility Services are currently seeking applications for full-time Chefs with a passion for great food and excellent service with a difference, to join our teams in our mining villages throughout Queensland throughout Rockhampton Coalfields & Bowen Basin. Our workforce accommodation villages offer a "home away from home”.
Due to our current growth, we are actively recruiting culinary professionals to join our team within mining camps and villages across locations in Queensland.
Experienced Head, Sous & Line Chefs who are hand on and can lead and delivery high quality service to our clients on a 14/7 roster (14 days on, 7 days off)
About You
- Must have a current open driver's license.
- Experience in high volume Catering as a Qualified Chef
- Lead and deliver high quality service, food service and preparation methods.
- Ability to collaborate with a team environment of Chefs, Kitchen Hands and Dining Room Employees and the ability to empower your team for success.
- Strong working knowledge of HACCP and food safety policies and procedures
- Knowledge of workplace safety systems
- Min Qualifications Cert III (Line) or IV in Commercial Cookery (Head & Sous)
- Bulk Catering Experience, ensuring consistency and excellence in food presentation standards for Breakfast, Crib, Dinner and Desserts
- Right to Work in Australia
- Medical + Drug & Alcohol Screen
- National Police Check (within 1 month)
Current Roles Available
- Line Chefs, from $85,000 plus super
- Sous Chefs, from $90,000 plus super
- Head Chefs, from $100,000 plus super (dependent on experience)
