About the role

We’re seeking world-class educators to inspire the next generation of Automotive students!

Bring your leadership, industry experience and knowledge in the Automotive Industry to this permanent full time opportunity. This role provides leadership and support to a team of teachers and support staff in accordance with TAFE NSW policy and external regulatory requirements.

Share your skills and passion for your industry, build the skills, qualifications, and employability, and support the career goals of our students. 

About You

You are an experienced leader and enjoy working in a collaborative and innovative way to lead and develop a team.  You will be required to use your strong interpersonal skills when liaising with industry and community and will utilise your sound negotiation skills when problem solving and meeting deadlines. 

To be successful in this role you must:

  • Hold a Certificate III in Light Vehicle Automotive or equivalent
  • Hold (AQF) Level 5 or higher qualification in Vocational Education and Training (VET)/ Adult Education OR hold a TAE40122 or equivalent and commit to obtaining the AQF Level 5 or higher qualification within 18 months of employment.

  • Have at least five (5) years of post-qualification experience in in industry relevant to your qualifications.
