As part of the Project Delivery Group (PDG), the Health and Safety team is a dynamic team of professionals who are focused on continual improvement, building a strong safety culture and executing programs to enhance the health, wellbeing and safety of all employees in the region.
We are currently seeking a Health and Safety Administrator to join our team. Reporting into the Regional Health and Safety Manager, you will provide high-level administrative support and play a key role in the efficiency of the day-to-day operational requirements of the health and safety team.
As the successful candidate you will:
-Manage all HSE data documents, SharePoint and systems including pre-qualification (contractor) portals
-Assist with proposal preparation, internal and external training and auditing and coordinate medicals and other project-related activities
-Collect and collate data for monthly reporting
-Assist the H&S team in the preparation of safety documentation and maintain accurate records relating to audits, meeting minutes and actions
-Update policies, processes and other documentation as required
-Maintain adequate record management including preparation, formatting and version control of documentation
-Have a keen interest in health and safety
You will bring to the role:
-High attention to detail, the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines
-Excellent interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills
-Advanced organisational skills
-Competent word processing, Excel and SharePoint skills. Experience with Power BI and Pivot tables is desirable.
-Strong problem solving skills
-Experience in a previous H&S administrator role highly regarded
