SalaryDue to expansion within the team, Ventia are seeking a SHEQ Advisor to support our Motorways & Tunnels contract. The Safety, Health, Environment, Quality (SHEQ) Advisor provides coaching, instruction, and advice to Ventia staff and their subcontracts across the Motorways & Tunnels Network throughout Sydney. The successful candidate will be offered a full-time permanent position with flexible hours and working locations.

- Utilising systems and processes to foster an integrated approach to SHEQ management in delivering on legal, contractual and business requirements
- Implementing and supporting SHEQ management plans, campaigns, and critical controls across all projects
- Leading SHEQ activities including site inspections, observations, audits, investigations, toolboxes and coaching supervisors and site personnel
- Undertaking investigations in relation to safety incidents including management of resulting actions and updating systems and documentation accordingly
- Tertiary qualification in Workplace/ Occupational Health and Safety, Occupational Hygiene, Health, Environmental or Quality Equivalent
- Ability to work night shifts (supporting night works approx. two nights per month)
- Have a good attitude and ability to learn
