About the opportunityThe
Health Practice Manager role is pivotal in managing the operational management and coordination of
Health Practice Sites within the Faculty of Medicine and Health, ensuring seamless clinical teaching and service delivery through effective rostering, schedule planning, and stakeholder engagement with an emphasis on process improvement.By partnering with academic schools and LHD partners, this role plays a crucial part in enhancing clinical teaching activities and fostering collaboration among students, consumers, academics, professional practitioners, and clinicians.
Your key responsibilities will be to- manage the rostering and schedule planning of staff who contribute to teaching
- oversee day-to-day operations of Health Practices, develop, and maintain Health Practice policies and procedures as they relate to faculty staff and students
- engage with internal and external stakeholders to ensure seamless service delivery & contribute to the development and implementation of business plans and strategies
- ensure services meet the teaching goals of each discipline supported
- function as the primary point of contact for WHS and operational requirements
- engage in external and community activities to represent Health Practices positively
- mitigate and manage risks to ensure efficient operation of Health Practice services.
About you- postgraduate qualifications in a relevant field or an equivalent combination of relevant training and experience
- excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills
- strong stakeholder management and conflict resolution abilities
- exceptional time and workload management skills
- proven ability to work independently and as part of a team
- demonstrated leadership skills with flexibility and adaptability
- experience in establishing, monitoring, and reviewing administrative procedures
