About the Role
We are seeking an experienced and motivated Health, Safety and Quality Officer to join our Melbourne based team. The right candidate will be someone who has a keen eye for detail, a result-driven approach, and an excellent communicator. They will be responsible for the coordination of the WHS and Quality Management system activities across all Progility Technologies’ sites, ensuring compliance with internal procedures and ISO requirements. They will need to have the ability to Identify Improvement opportunities to further improve compliance business performance and customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain ISO management system certifications.
- Promote QMS and WHS awareness and manage training plans.
- Ensure compliance with current legislation standards and communicate any changes that arise.
- Implement requirements of the QMS and WHS and maintain records where required.
- Organise, participate in and report back to WHS committee.
- Conduct regular inspections, safety audits and hazard/incident reports of sites and equipment.
- Conduct regular internal audits on our QMS and WHS, raising awareness and compliance in the process.
- Be the lead for external ISO audits.
About You/ Experience & Qualifications
- Minimum 5 years’ experience in a similar role.
- Trained ISO 9001 and/or ISO 45001 auditor (lead auditor preferred).
- Familiarity working with Australian State OHS Acts, Regulations and Codes of Practice Frameworks.
- Minimum Diploma level qualification in related discipline preferred (Engineering, Quality, WHS).
- Ensure Compliance with current WHS standards.
- MS Office Skills – Word, Excel, Visio and PowerPoint.
