The Opportunity
An exciting new opportunity has arisen for a highly motivated and proactive IT Helpdesk professional to join our IT team based in our CBD office. In this role reporting to the Head of IT Services, you will be delivering IT helpDesk Support and daily interaction with staff at all organisational levels.
We are ideally seeking candidates who are in their second or third year of study and are available to work three days per week. This is a hands-on opportunity for those wanting to develop their support skills within a strong and reputable Firm.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Supporting a wide range of software and hardware products used by over 200 staff.
- Setting up audio/video equipment for video conferencing
- Maintaining multifunction devices (printer/copier/scanner)
- Supporting users for software and hardware rollouts and upgrades
- Server administration and maintenance
- Installing, moving, and setting up PC workstations and equipment
- Carrying out audits of IT equipment and recommendations for future needs.
Successful candidates will have:
- IT/Helpdesk experience (desirable)
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills
- High attention to detail
- Sound knowledge of Microsoft software packages, predominantly Office 365 suite, Windows 10/11 and Windows Server 2019
- Understanding of Active Directory, LAN/WAN technologies and SQL database knowledge
- Knowledge of Microsoft Azure (Entra), VMWare and Citrix would be desirable.
- The ability to work independently and as part of a friendly and busy team.
