Servicing Armidale, Byford, Mundijong, Serpentine & immediate surrounds
Permanent Part-Time – minimum 10 -15 hours per week
Essential - Driver’s Licence, reliable car, proof of vehicle registration and insurance

About the role:
This position is offering Permanent Part Time, 20 hours or 30 hours per fortnight.
Potential to increase your hours as new clients join us for support if desired, depending on your availability.
Availability for a minimum of three (3) days between 07:00am and 6:00pm is preferred. School hours may be considered for weekdays.
Availability for some weekend work is highly advantageous.
You are ideally a mature person to suit our client's needs and living within the areas our client services are located, south of Perth in the areas of Armidale, Byford, Mundijong, Serpentine and immediate surrounds.
As a Care Worker you will enable our clients to live their best life, supporting them to live independently at home by helping them with everyday activities like (but not limited to):
Domestic duties (cleaning, laundry, cooking, vacuuming, changing bed linen, mopping, and anything in-between)
Social support and transport (doctors’ appointments, shopping, general community access support, and companionship)
Personal care (showering, bathing, meal preparation, toileting, grooming, and medications amongst other support requirements in line with the care plan)
Working with each client to continue to do the things they love
What about you:
You will need to be comfortable working on your own in the local community
Dementia experience will be a great advantage
Valid WA Driver’s Licence, reliable motor vehicle, and proof of vehicle registration – Essential
Willingness to obtain or provide proof of comprehensive car insurance – Essential
Willing to travel within the relevant location and surrounds - Essential
Experience and/or transferrable skills providing compassionate care to the elderly
Current First Aid and CPR certificates or willingness to obtain via Baptistcare at no cost to you
Certificate III in Individual Support is desirable but not essential
You must be residing in the area of work
Passionate about Customer Service
Ability to pass a new National Police Check (cost covered)
Willingness to obtain or provide proof of Influenza & three (3) COVID-19 Vaccinations
Willingness to undergo a pre-employment medical if required

Part time hourly rate range between $28.00 - $31.00, depending on qualifications and experience.
Paid travel time and KM mileage between client homes and to/from appointments
