We are a certified NDIS provider operating across South Australia.
We are governed by a carer-led Board who oversee all governance of EllieB’s. Our Chief Executive and Leadership team manage the day-to-day operations.
ROLE PURPOSE
Harrow House is a well-appointed, contemporary, supported residential facility at Glenside. Our service is aimed at supporting people to build independence and enable personal choice.
The House Service Coordinator’s purpose is to oversee day to day operations with a focus on rostering, workforce and compliance.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Liaise with Rostering directly for all rostering and workforce deployment matters
- Monitoring APOW’s
- Leave approvals
- Provide support with any recruitment and onboarding needs
- Manage scheduling
- Build workforce capability
- Provide operational supervision to team members
- Provide direction and support to all team members
- Set agendas and facilitate team meetings
- Following up training compliance, WHS and compliance tasks
- Oversee incident reporting, ensuring action plans are developed accordingly and in consultation with Senior Support Workers
- Contribute to a positive workplace culture that nurtures and celebrates continuous improvement
EXPERIENCE AND COMPETENCIES
- Experience in working with people with a disability in a home or community setting
- Demonstrated knowledge and experience in disability programs
- Commitment to person-centred care and quality of care
- Demonstrated ability to supervise and lead
- Demonstrated ability to develop a customer service culture amongst staff
- Ability to maintain professionalism, integrity and confidentiality
- Proven ability to plan, prioritise, meet deadlines and juggle competing demands
- Strong knowledge of National Disability Service Standards and prescribed requirements
QUALIFICATIONS, CLEARANCES, LICENCES
- Qualification in Human Services or a related field
- Legal eligibility to work in Australia
- National Police Clearance
- NDIS Workers Screening Check
- NDIS Commission E-Learning Modules
- Flu/Covid vax evidence
- Current drivers license
- First Aid and CPR
- Working with Children Check
