We are looking for an enthusiastic and committed Housing Asset Officer who shares our values to join our team in Broome.
Qualifications & experience
- High level of communication skills with the ability to effectively work with all stakeholders
- Negotiation skills and ability to develop business relationships with internal and external
- Strong time management skills to ensure efficient and effective outcomes are achieved to a high standard
- Relevant qualification and / or experience in property management
- Good time management skills and ability to prioritise workload
- Highly developed interpersonal skills
Tasks & responsibilities
- Accept and process applications for housing from participants and staff as per Centro process
- Addressing tenant complaints
- Arranging and completing housing inspections
- Escalating any serious breaches to relevant Managers.
- Ensure accurate and up to date information on all tenancies and vacancies on properties owned or leased are maintained on ReLeased
- Maintain up to date and accurate information on Contractors on ReLeased
- Arranging cleaning of respite home after each participant vacates
- Coordinate maintenance schedule with Fleet and Assets Officer
- Ensure compliance with residential tenancy act and local, state and federal legislation
- Comply with Work Health and Safety legislation
- Knowledge and maintaining asset records

To be suitable for the role, you must possess
- Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate with people from diverse backgrounds and experiences
- The ability to problem-solve and work flexible without direct supervision
- A ‘C’ class driver's licence and a reliable, suitably insured car
- A satisfactory National Police Clearance that is less than three months old.
- NDIS Worker's Screening (or willingness to obtain)
