What you'll do: As a Human Resources Advisor, you will play a crucial role in supporting the HR Business Partner and Australia and New Zealand leadership team in delivering HR initiatives. You will act as the first point of contact for HR queries, issues and requests from the team. Your responsibilities will span across various aspects of HR including managing the full employee lifecycle from recruitment to offboarding. You will also oversee annual employee engagement surveys and other HR projects. Your commitment to upholding best practices will ensure continued compliance with legislation, policies and procedures.
Provide guidance, coaching, and advice to managers on HR matters such as employment contracts, disciplinary actions, grievances, and termination
Act as the first point of contact for all employee enquiries, concerns, and feedback
Manage and conduct all processes within a full employee lifecycle including recruitment, onboarding, performance management, grievances, compensation and benefits, learning and development, employee relations management and offboarding
Oversee annual employee engagement survey and other HR projects
Ensure continued compliance with legislation, policies and procedures that are best practice
Prepare monthly payroll items to be processed

What you bring: The ideal candidate for this Human Resources Advisor position brings extensive experience in a similar role with exposure to all areas of HR. A strong working knowledge of national workplace laws in Australia and New Zealand related to HR is essential. You should have a solid understanding of payroll processes and principles. Your demonstrated competency to manage employee relations and experience coaching managers will be key to your success in this role. Experience in SAP is highly desirable.
Extensive experience in a similar role with exposure to all areas of HR
Tertiary qualification in HR
Strong working knowledge of national workplace laws in Australia
Understanding of New Zealand HR legislation desirable
Solid understanding of payroll processes and principles
Demonstrated competency to manage employee relations and experience coaching managers
