About the role

We are looking for a HR professional to put their HR knowledge to great use in a part-time role with purpose, lots of variety and flexibility.

Our talented HR Oceania team is looking for a part time HR Advisor to join on a permanent basis preferably in Sydney. You will be responsible for providing HR Advisory to our Service Delivery Service line and create a first class, purpose drive employee experience to drive business success. You will be working closely with our HR Business partners to learn from and ensure you are set up for success.

With a focus on improving the employee experience and living our values of Trust, Aspiration and Empathy this role is crucial in delivering our people strategy and programs that propel us towards our teams goal of becoming an Inclusive Employer of Choice delivering Employee Experience Excellence, creating Sustainability Transformation with Customers & Communities.

As an HR Advisor, you will play a critical role in supporting our Purpose, People and Culture Team in various aspects of employee relations, performance management, HR administration and HR policy implementation.

Preference is 3 days, but we are open to hear what your situation and request is!


About you
To succeed in this role you will have:

  • Proven experience as an HR advisor or similar HR role
  • Previous knowledge of employment law, regulations and HR best practice
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to build rapport and effectively interact with employees at all levels
  • Excellent problem solving and conflict resolution abilities
  • Ability to handle confidential information with discretion and integrity
  • Proficiency in HRIS and MS Office applications (SAP is used)
  • Detail oriented with strong organisational and time management skills
