About the role
You will have a broad remit, focusing on operational HR tasks across end to end processes from recruitment to compliance. You'll be instrumental in advising on and supporting strategic people initiatives, ensuring alignment with the business objectives through effective HR service delivery. Key responsibility include:
- Offer guidance and advice to management on ER/IR issues to minimize potential risks.
- Facilitate onboarding process for new hires.
- Ensure service quality in everyday tasks in line with the company values
- Play an active role in enhancing employee engagement, change management, succession planning, and L&D initiatives.
- Coach and guide employees and leaders on performance issues and reviews
- Report on data analytics to support business case development.
The role calls for a proactive collaborator who can work closely with stakeholders and "Heads of". You will have the ability to engage and navigate complex challenges, with a pragmatic approach to HR solutions. Trust-building is essential in this role.
Ideally, you will have experience with best-practice and preferably in an industrial or unionized environment with a blue-collar workforce.
A salary of $120,000 base + super is on offer. Hybrid working is available which is 3 days onsite/2 from home. This role is based near Botany NSW.
