What your day will look like:
- As HR Advisor you will work closely with our leaders, and the HR Team to create best practices as well as supportive and safe workplace practices.
- Managing the full breadth of employee relations matters, following internal process, relevant Fair Work principles, and operating with due consideration to associated risks.
- Provide consistent, practical, and strategic advice and coaching to stakeholders on people-related matters and industrial instruments.
- Building an open, communicative, and supportive culture across the business while working closely with team members to identify areas of improvement.
- Contribute to our culture by supporting with Engagement, Wellbeing and DEIB initiatives.
- Excellent organisation, prioritisation and attention to detail skills, to coordinate tasks and projects with a diverse portfolio.
- Have tertiary qualifications in Human Resources or related discipline.
- Have 2 to 3 years’ experience in HR, preferably in a fast-paced or Retail environment.
- Demonstrate a confident and competent approach in managing complex employee relations matters.
- Strong demonstrated knowledge of the GRIA, SSWA and Clerks 2020 Awards and the Fair Work Act 2009 along with a proven ability to interpret relevant legislation.
- Strong problem-solving skills within ambiguous and/or changing environments.
- Excellent communication and a professional approach when dealing with sensitive and confidential information.
- Own a team-based attitude; willing to go outside of required duties to support the team to achieve objectives.
