We have an exciting opportunity for a HR Business Partner to join our dynamic People & Culture team based in Sydney or Brisbane.
About the team and work
This is a key role that provides strategic and operational P&C support to our practice groups nationally. The P&C team is highly regarded at the firm and foster a supportive, inclusive and collaborative team environment. You will have the opportunity to Business Partner on a broad range of HR initiatives, working closely with the wider P&C team, Partners and their teams.
Reporting to the Director, People & Culture, your responsibilities will include:
Provide guidance and coaching to Partners and staff on HR matters (ER issues, policy and award interpretation, WHS, team restructures and leave requests)
Work with Partners to strategically identify business and team people needs and prepare detailed supporting business cases
Support and coach managers through the annual performance and development review process
Advise Partners on strategies to build a high-performance culture across their teams
Work with Partners and Learning & Organisational Development to implement initiatives and training to develop team capability
Work closely with National P&C team on various projects and initiatives
About you:
Bachelors Degree in Human Resources or a related discipline
5+ years HR experience at Business Partner or Manager level, ideally with a legal or professional services background
Strong relationship management and influencing skills
Business partnering capability with an excellent commercial acumen
