Our client is part of a global group specializing in the development, manufacture and sale of inks, pigments, polymers, specialty plastics and compounds and biochemicals.
Based in Moorabbin, this role offers flexible working arrangements, autonomy and scope to make your mark as the Head of HR.
This role has ultimate responsibility for all people based activity across ANZ from both operational and strategic perspective
.You will work closely, and in support of, the COO and other department heads, to drive and deliver the organizations people strategy through leadership and change management.
The successful candidate will demonstrate
- Tertiary level qualification in a relevant HR or IR discipline
- Adopting and implementing EHS police and procedure
- Ensure induction and refresher training
- Ability to influence senior stakeholders.
- Experience in negotiation, handling conflict and confrontation, and facilitating resolution.
- Proven experience of business communication and highly developed written and verbal communications skills.
- Experience of developing strategy and implementation plans to business level.
- Ability to manage costs and budgets (P&L management).
- Extensive human resource management experience at a senior level in the manufacturing industry.
- Strong IR & ER experience.
- Proven highly developed people management skills.
- Proven relationship development and maintenance experience combined with developed business acumen.
