As Yokogawa HR Officer you will play a pivotal role in supporting our People & Culture (P&C) and backup for the Payroll Manager. This position requires meticulous attention to detail and a proactive approach to managing HR and payroll processes efficiently. You will collaborate closely with various stakeholders to ensure the smooth operation of the HR team and backup payroll function.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide recruitment, onboarding, offboarding and administrative support and the maintenance of the HR Information System (Workday)
- Preparing employment letters, employment contracts, and resolving operational queries related to payroll and P&C.
- Drive process improvement initiatives to enhance service efficiency within the P&C team and across the organization.
- Provide backup payroll for the payroll manager - Process payroll transactions, including relief periods and GL entries, and manage EFT payments.
- Conduct monthly payroll checking to ensure accuracy and compliance
- Contribute to the maintenance of HR policies and ensure the accuracy of information on the company intranet.
- Assist with HR Projects and activities, communicating and collaborating effectively with internal and external stakeholders.
Requirements
- Previous experience in payroll and HR administration.
- Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy.
- Demonstrated willingness to learn and innovate.
- Proficiency in HRIS (Workday) and payroll systems (Micropay) is preferred.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to proactively identify and implement process improvements.
