About the role

Join our team as the HR Support & Culture Coordinator, a pivotal role at Janison. 

In this role, you will work closely with our CEO and senior Executive Leadership Team (ELT) to provide essential administrative support and be the champion of culture through various people experience initiatives. 

Your day-to-day activities will be diverse, ensuring our organisation continues to feel connected across physical, hybrid, and virtual work environments. You will develop and oversee the coordination of regular People and Culture (P&C) activities to maintain our vibrant and connected workforce.

Collaborating closely with our CEO and senior executives, you'll help our leadership team operate efficiently by providing day-to-day support around events, travel, meeting schedules, preparation of materials for board and leadership meetings.

Employee lifecycle management will be a key component of your role. Supporting new starters with their onboarding journey and all aspects required for staff to get started in their role.

To support our ongoing company culture you will assist in tracking key employee metrics to monitor and help nurture a positive working environment, ensuring our people feel engaged and have an open dialogue to with the wider business.

This full-time role, based in Melbourne, offers a blend of coworking and remote work options. You'll work closely with our P&C team, ELT, and members of our Kultcha Klub, making relationship-building skills essential.

Fortunately, this role was previously performed and therefore has established some great practices, systems and processes – allowing you to come in and make it unique but also build on an existing, strong foundation.

Day to day this role will see you:

  • Provide administrative support to our ELT including scheduling travel, team events and calendar support, preparation of materials for board and leadership meetings.
  • Support people managers with preboarding, onboarding and offboarding activities
  • Measure and analyse employee engagement results and initiatives to ensure we focus on the things that are important to our people, including the coordination of our quarterly Values Award
  • Maintain and explore existing and new communication channels for optimal employee connection including the facilitation of our company-wide meetings (OneJanison)
  • Recruitment support including managing our ATS, posting job ads and ATS system support to managers.
  • Shared office coordination across Australia

  • Strong attention to detail
  • Experience in administrative, operational HR activities
  • Strong time management skills and ability to prioritise
  • Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office suite including PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook.
  • Project management or exec support experience is a bonus!
