We are expanding and have a great opportunity for a permanent Payroll Assistant within the Wickham Group. Based in Warwick QLD, this opportunity will give you the ability to enjoy a work life balance whilst maintaining your career aspirations in a dynamic HR and Finance team.
You will join a small payroll team that is well established and recognised by our internal stakeholders, and which is deeply committed to supporting our workforce.
In this position you will be assisting our current Payroll Team with the end-to-end processing of a large, multi-site and weekly payroll.
Your key duties and responsibilities in this position will include:
- Assist with manual calculation of driver trip sheets
- Manage and maintain employee records within payroll system
- Assist with calculation of payroll related accounts
- Effectively collaborate with team members and the broader HR team
- Filing of paperwork and basic administrative tasks
- Answering calls and responding to enquiries
Essential:
- High attention to detail, accuracy, and ownership of your work.
- Confident and motivated to learn new systems
- Keen interest in learning and processing payroll
- Ability to deal with pressure and tight time frames whilst maintaining attention to detail and accuracy.
- Intermediate levels in Microsoft applications
- Analytical and problem-solving skills.
