Seeking a HSEQ Officer to join the team on a permanent full-time job based in Townsville.

A family owned and operated logistics organisation is now seeking a HSEQ Officer to join the team on a permanent full-time basis. This is a newly created role, based in Townsville, QLD.Your new role
Reporting into the General Manager, you will be responsible for the day to day management and internal/external Audits of all HSEQ, NHVR, Truck Safe, Foodsafe, ISO accreditations, Compliance and updating legislation changes from specific legislation sources.You will:
- Manage and provide direction and guidance to all local drivers and depot employees
- Conduct and manage internal audits, and liaise with external audits
- Manage all QA, control registers, including IMS, driver Work Diary entries, management for NHVR/Truck safe and ISO Accreditations
- Coordinating and conducting internal investigations into compliance issues.
To be successful in this opportunity, you will need a couple of the following:
- High level of knowledge and understanding of all applicable legislation
- QLD Driver's Licence and own transport
- TAE40116 Certificate IV in Training and Assessment
- Certificate IV in Compliance and Risk Management (10131NAT),
- OH&S Certificate / Diploma
- Auditor of IMS qualification
- Fatigue Management Qualifications
