As the Human Resources Manager, you will play a pivotal role in leading and directing the Human Resource Management, ensuring compliance with legal requirements (including AWARDS) and industry best practices.

As the Human Resources Manager, you will play a pivotal role in leading and directing the Human Resource Management, ensuring compliance with legal requirements (including AWARDS) and industry best practices.
This role is based in the country head office directly reporting to the Vice President (ANZ) with matrix reporting to the Regional Head HR. The primary objective of this role is to closely partner with the business by establishing best-in-class HR processes and systems in the country that is well aligned with the regional HR strategy.
Key responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Lead recruitment, including candidate selection and onboarding processes- i.e. manage the end to end talent acquisition process, for positions at all levels.
- Liaise with relevant parties to manage job design, evaluation, and performance appraisals.
- Oversee/ manage staff movements and probation reviews.
- Implement and ensure compliance with HR policies and procedures in conjunction with relevant parties.
- Implement and manage HRIS system and associated functions.
- Implementation and management of company-wide grading matrix.
- Management Annual Review process in conjunction with Senior Management.
- Oversee workplace Health and Safety, including management of/ collaborating with all relevant parties (i.e. Management, Wardens, First Aiders, WorkCover, Unions etc. as required) and oversee all Return to Work processes and associated plans/ reviews.
- Coordinate workforce training, including all induction processed procedures.
- Maintain accurate records of induction, training, and safety checks, and foster a safety-aware culture across the company for a secure workplace.
- Continually improve and maintain HR procedures to ensure compliance with local AU and NZ employment laws, prepare and communicate reports for streamlined administration, and collaborate with management in the implementation of training and employee development programs.
- Oversee local AU and NZ Payrolls, including all associated remuneration/ Statutory submissions and filings.
- Take the lead on all Visa related matters- i.e. Ex-Patriate movements, Trainee Programs and global visitor requirements, including all associated workplace inductions.
Essential Criteria:
- Minimum 8-10 years’ experience HR Management or equivalent leadership experience. Ideally 1Graduation/professional degree in HRM or equivalent with 8-10 years of experience in a medium to large MNC service industry
- Extensive HR Management, Employee Relations, HR Regulations Compliance and AU/ NZ Payroll.
- Experience in implementing change management and best practices would be preferred.
- High level understanding of AWARDS and workplace regulations.
- Industry experience will be highly regarded, but not mandatory.
- Effective communication, Management and Negotiation skills.
- Willingness to travel on occasion for business needs.
- Ability to influence senior stakeholders.
- Proven experience of business communication and highly developed written and verbal communications skills.
- Hands on Approach with Strong PC skills
