The Position
As the Human Resource Officer you will report to and directly assist the Human Resources Manager to plan and implement culture change across our organisation, drive positive employee wellbeing, coordinate recruitment for all designations, and also plan and report on all HR functions. You will ideally have experience and a passion for Workplace Health and Safety to complement your HR skills. You will be an outgoing and personable professional who enjoys enhancing a working environment for all.
You will also be someone who wants to consolidate their skills and is willing to be mentored into a more senior role with more responsibility within the organisation.
Essential Skills and Experience
- Qualifications in Workplace Health and Safety
- Tertiary Qualifications in HR Management or relevant discipline
- 2 years experience in a similar HR Officer role
- Excellent communication (written and oral) and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work as part of a small multi disciplinary team
- Excellent organisational and time management skills
- High computer literacy and capacity to work across various platforms
- Ability to manage change effectively and efficiently
Desirable
- Cert 4 - Training and Assessment
- Human Resource, Rostering & Time Attendance systems
- Knowledge of Aged Care Quality Commission Standards
