Role details

The Workforce Recruitment Nursing and General Team at the Mackay Base Hospital is seeking applications for a Workforce Recruitment Officer to join their team on a temporary full time basis, from date of appointment up to 6 months.

Your opportunity

The purpose of the Workforce Recruitment Officer role is to facilitate and support the seamless process of employment of Health Service staff by contributing to a team-based environment in one or more of the above-mentioned areas. This position will also support the Manager Workforce and Recruitment and Executive Director People as required from time-to-time maximising value to the organisation.

About the Team

The Workforce Recruitment team is a cohesive team responsible for the recruitment of all MHHS staff including nurses, doctors, professional, administrative and operational staff. 

About our Hospital and Health Service

has 6 hospitals, 2 multi-purpose health services and 4 community health centres that employ more than 3,700 staff. The district covers an area of approximately 90,000km2 and provides services to patients and their families in Bowen, Cannonvale, Clermont, Collinsville, Dysart, Glenden, Mackay, Middlemount, Moranbah, Proserpine and Sarina.
