The Role
We have an opportunity for a Human Resources Administration and Reception Officer to join our People and Culture team. This role is a busy hands-on role and works autonomously on our reception area coordinating the administration activities for the Human Resources department. As the Human Resources Administration Officer, you will be responsible for providing prompt, efficient and high-quality administrative service to internal and external parties. Carrying out administrative activities of recruitment, staff resignations, and providing all around administrative support to the Human Resources Department to ensure effective and efficient operation of the organisation. You will also be the key contact person and front of house, acting as Receptionist for Queensland Country Centre.
You will use your exceptional interpersonal skills and ability to manage priorities to ensure that you are providing a high level of service to both external and internal stakeholders.
This position is full-time based on a 38 hour working week, located in our Townsville office.
Key Responsibilities include:
- Working with Recruitment Officers to assist with the administrative function of recruitment and onboarding of new and existing staff
- Providing administrative assistance with the coordination of uniforms and liaising with the uniform supplier
- Coordinating and organising Queensland Country special functions and events
- Coordinating travel, accommodation and conference bookings for general staff and managers
- Undertaking basic and routine Receptionist and administrative duties
What We Are Looking For
To be successful in this role the person we are looking for will have to be incredibly personable, bring high energy and enjoy building positive relationships. They will be able to adapt easily to systems and have a solid background using Microsoft Office. Ideally their previous experience will be aligned to this role with an understanding of standard administrative practices and a passion for HR. Finally, this role needs someone who enjoys working autonomously in our Reception area, manages their time, prioritises their work and has a strong attention to detail.
