As a Human Resources Advisor, you will be responsible for responding to all HR related queries and requests in a timely and client centred way. This position will have the capability to respond to those queries/issues that require more time, investigation or professional judgement and if not will escalate where appropriate.
Your part in our UnitingCare team:
- Manage HR related queries, supporting and coaching leaders via telephone / email, tracking, resolving and also escalating / referring inquiries as necessary.
- Coach leaders and educate employees on the application of HR policies, benefits, employment terms and conditions and procedures
- Work as part of the HR team to provide effective and efficient HR services with a strong customer focus and following up on queries as required,
- Keep accurate records of all employee / leader interactions, recording details of inquires or comments, and updating personnel files as required
- Role model UnitingCare behaviours and culture, working in collaboration with key stakeholders, partners and P&C team members Internal and external relationships
- Tertiary qualifications in Human Resources or a related field.
- Previous experience in a similar role providing HR advice to employees or leaders.
- Excellent time management skills with the ability to work under pressure and prioritise as necessary.
- Coaching capability enabling managers to deliver effective HR outcomes.
- Demonstrated experience interpreting HR related policies and legislation and providing advice to employees and leaders.
- Corporate - HR/IR Legislation; Policy;
- Experience interpreting policies and legislation and providing advice to employees on this
- Previous experience in supporting informal and formal investigations
- Evidence of continuous professional development in HR
