The Opportunity
Due to the continued growth of the Company, we have a great opportunity for a suitably qualified and experienced Human Resources Advisor to join our HR Team.
This is a fulltime permanent role offered on a Monday to Friday roster for residents located in Karratha.
Role Requirements
- Providing end to end recruitment and onboarding coordination including placing of adverts, screening and interviewing candidates, coordinating pre-employment procedures and supporting onboarding procedures of inductions, paperwork and orientation.
- Preparing contracts, variations of employment and other HR documentation.
- Assisting the HR Team in the coordination of and completion of all HR activities relating to the employee lifecycle.
- Maintaining of employee files throughout the lifecycle.
- Coordinating and managing the Companys Housing and associated policy including maintaining accurate records of lease agreements, payments, inventory and inspections following personnel movements.
- Providing support to the business and HR Team across a range of HR processes, policies and programs including assisting in the design and implementation of appropriate HR tools and systems, organisation and development strategies and employee/labour relations queries.
- Assisting HR Manager with people risk management including providing advice to leaders and escalating as required.
- Supporting the leadership group in managing and developing the performance and talent of the team in line with Corps values, in order to achieve the business’ objectives.
- Developing and maintaining effective relationships with all internal and external stakeholders.
Essential Requirements
- Minimum Cert IV in Human Resource Management.
- Demonstrated analytical, problem solving and negotiation skills to effectively resolve issues in the workplace.
- Advanced time management, planning and organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities to meet strict deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Hold a high level of integrity, confidentiality, and credibility.
- Knowledge of HR legislative requirements.
- Experience in the Construction industry and knowledge of the construction, asphalt and transport modern awards and legislation is highly desirable.
