About the team
The HR Coordinator will support the Chief People Officer in rolling out strategies and ensuring the efficiency of HR functions such as recruitment, staff development, performance management, employee relations matters and compliance with governmental regulations. The HR Coordinator will lead by example, providing guidance and support across our organisation to mentor the HR Administration Officer.
About the role
- Formulate and implement HR policies and procedures, ensuring adherence to legal standards.
- Manage the recruitment process end-to-end, ensuring a seamless and effective operation.
- Organise training and development initiatives to boost employee skills and career progression.
- Conduct performance evaluations, offering support and guidance to both managers and employees.
- Address employee relations issues with sensitivity, aiming for fair and constructive outcomes.
- Work collaboratively across departments to meet HR needs, promoting a culture of teamwork and transparency.
- Ensure accurate and confidential handling of HR records and reports.
- Mentor and oversee the HR Administration Officer, guiding them in their professional development and ensuring high-quality administrative support within the HR team.
Skills & Experience Required:
- A minimum Diploma in Human Resources.
- A minimum of 5 years of HR experience.
- Strong knowledge of employment legislation and HR best practices.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Solid organizational skills and adept at problem-solving.
- Proficiency in HRIS and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Demonstrated experience in mentoring or leading a team is highly desirable
