FPES are looking for a Return to Work & High-Risk administrative coordinator to join our growing team. This role would suit someone with RTW/Injury management administration exposure, a new graduate or a talented administrator simply looking for a new career path.
Finding the right candidate for our close-knit team is paramount. Work in a relaxed and casual office environment in Cronulla. Flexible working from home arrangements are also available (2 days per week).
FPES Australia is an organisation that provides pre-employment screening and post-injury interventions to some of Australia's largest employers.
What the role entails:
- Providing Administrative support to both the Return to Work and High-Risk Team
- Completing high-risk admin triggers, developing reports and other ad-hoc tasks as required
- Answering phone calls from treatment providers, RTW referrals and occasionally, call overflows from the general admin team.
- Actioning emails within the RTW and High-Risk inbox.
- Administrative tasks associated with early intervention referrals such as following up on treatment attendance and completing handovers.
- Following processes thoroughly to ensure consistency and outcomes.
- Liaising with RTW referrals throughout their recovery.
- Developing suitable duties plan in collaboration with the employer and injured worker, facilitating positive RTW outcomes
- Summarising injury information and liaising with Employers, Insurers, rehab providers & treatment providers
- Administrative tasks associated with RTW referrals including claim lodgement, record keeping, following up on documents and other ad-hoc tasks
- Resiliency and empathetic service through collaboration with key stakeholders
- The identification of high-risk referrals and taking all proactive steps to encourage recovery at work
- Ongoing training and support from the FPES RTW & High-Risk Team

Skills/requirements:

- The ability to speak with injured workers in challenging situations, whilst maintaining professionalism and empathy.
- Administrative exposure or experience within the Medical, Return to Work, Workers' Compensation and/or Injury Management setting
- NSW Sira RTW Coordinator accreditation preferred but not essential.
- Excellent interpersonal skills who is a clear and professional communicator (written & verbal)
- An understanding of NSW Workers' Compensation Legislation with exposure to other states is highly desired
- Insurer Case Management experience would be of interest but not essential
- Occupational Health exposure would be of interest but not essential
Monday - Friday role. The salary is negotiable depending on experience.
