About the Role:
The ideal candidate will support the full scope of Human Resources responsibilities and partner with the organization on strategic initiatives. They will maintain and enhance the organization's Human Resources by planning, implementing, and evaluating Human Resources policies, programs, and practices.
Responsibilities:
- Assisting HR Manager (Int) and General Manager in administration and management of Human Resources policies, procedures and programs.
- Active participation in departmental development, employee relations and organizational development initiatives and programs.
- Prepare/Assist in preparation, distribution and implementation of Policies and Procedures
- Provide guidance on, review and communicate information regarding employment law, relevant Awards and Union agreements and negotiations.
- Managing HR records.
- Handling Employee concerns & Assistance with Employee Management
- Manage distribution, completion & documenting performance reviews
- Coordination of EBA negotiations.
- Assist in the maintenance of transversal business relationships with HR Managers in APAC and Europe to fulfil VCA HR Reporting / Training corporate requirements. This requires interstate and international travel, around three times per year.
- Travel domestically to other states multiple times a year; travel internationally to Europe (France, Germany) at least once a year.

About you:
- Bachelor's degree or relevant experience in Human Resources
- 5+ years' experience in Human Resources
- Strong recruiting and demonstrated ability to improve talent acquisition strategies in both white and blue collared employees
- Demonstrated expertise training managers and employees
- Strong organizational, critical thinking and communications skills
- Attention to detail and good judgement
