Capricorn Drilling Services and Central Queensland Exploration are seeking a hard-working and highly motivated Human Resources Manager to join our growing team.
Central Queensland Exploration is a leading exploration, mine services and water well drilling specialist with 20+ years drilling experience and a strong reputation for safely delivering projects beyond expectations for our valued clients.
This is a role based out of Gladstone Queensland.

About the Role:
- Monday to Friday.
- Responsible for efficient operations by coordinating and delivering a diverse range of HR Management activities focusing on recruitment, on-boarding, administration and coordination, performance management, policies, and procedures.
- Ongoing training provided.

Key Responsibilities
- Represent CQ Exploration in a positive and professional manner.
- Project/client liaison.
- Assist in Facilitating competency and completion of training and onboarding requirements.
- Impart knowledge and leadership standards, including personal presentation, performance standards, competency and following safety guidelines.
- Communicate with Management, Workshop, field staff, service providers, as applicable.
Requirements of the successful applicant/s:
- Certificate IV and/or Diploma in Human Resource Management.
- Relevant experience in a Human Resource Department (including recruitment, project management, training, liaising with clients and stakeholders, etc).
- The ability to operate independently and manage projects.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to engage with, coach and influence others.
- Experience in and/or understanding of the commercial and other challenges and opportunities of HR in a growing, family-owned and operated business.
- Ability to work with internal and external stakeholders at all levels.
- Training coordination and facilitation skills.
- Ability to work under high pressure in a fast-paced environment.
- A high degree of confidentiality maintenance.
- Manual Open License is essential.
- Must be reliable, motivated, and committed to working as part of a team.
- Must have good communication skills to liaise with clients and other members of the team.
- Must be able to demonstrate the ability to adhere to Company Policies, Procedures and Work Safe Practices.
