The HR Manager position is a pivotal role for an experienced professional dedicated to fostering a positive and compliant workplace culture. As the administrator of our People & Culture and Workplace Health & Safety policies, you will play a critical role in ensuring alignment with NDIS Standards, Quality & Safeguarding Frameworks, and government legislation.
Key Responsibilities:
- Demonstrate a keen understanding and genuine interest in the disability sector and the NDIS.
- Manage grievances and disciplinary processes, conducting investigations and preparing comprehensive briefs and recommendations.
- Collaborate with managers to enhance employee performance, supporting their development to maximise potential.
- Prepare and present monthly workforce reports, collaborating with managers on action plans to address key issues identified.
- Develop and elevate our Employee Value Proposition to ensure top-tier attraction and retention strategies.
- Oversee the development and regular review of People & Culture resources, ensuring compliance with NDIS Standards, Quality & Safeguarding Frameworks, and government legislation.
- Lead quality improvement initiatives within the company, emphasising continuous improvement principles and practices, and play a central role in workforce planning, budgeting, and remuneration and benefits framework implementation.
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
Proven experience in HR management within a community services organisation. - In-depth knowledge of NDIS Standards, Quality & Safeguarding Frameworks, and relevant government legislation.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to convey complex information in a clear and concise manner. - Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a proactive approach to addressing challenges.
- Ability to work collaboratively with diverse teams.
Demonstrated leadership in driving positive cultural change.
