About the opportunity:Yura Yungi Medical Service Aboriginal Corporation (YYMS) is searching for a full-time Human Resources Manager based in Halls Creek, WA, to play a vital role in expanding into aged care and growing staff numbers from 50 to 80.
As a senior leader reporting to the CEO, you'll be responsible for strategic HR advisory services, ensuring compliance with workplace legislation, and nurturing a positive organizational culture. Key responsibilities include:
- Providing HR management consultancy and supporting organizational development
- Leading and guiding the HR team in line with our vision and values
- Monitoring team progress, facilitating performance discussions, and offering feedback to employees
- Addressing conflicts and grievances following organizational policies
- Promoting a safe and healthy work environment, particularly focusing on mental health
- Conducting staff audits, submitting compliance reports, and participating in audits
- Managing the organization's Human Resources Information System (HRIS) and Learning Management System (LMS)
We seek someone with a robust background in HR or related fields and a profound understanding of Aboriginal culture. With a minimum of 5 years in HR management, you'll adeptly navigate the intricacies of our unique culture.
