Due to expansion we are currently recruiting for a Human Resources Officer with at least 3 years plus Human Resources Officer experience within construction, mining and critical infrastructure space.
Your role will include the following:
- Provide support and advice to line management and staff on change management initiatives.
- Focus on documenting HR policy and procedures, ensuring HR compliance, streamlining HR processes and
- enhancing the Company's HR capability and effectiveness.
- Supporting the maintenance of employee records including document preparation and visa applications.
- Liaising with Payroll and other departments as required.
- Raising Purchase orders as required.
- Liaising with Line managers on probation expiries and coordinating relevant formal communications.
- Coordinating bi-annual performance and development reviews and providing detail around employee training
- and upskilling to Learning and Development Coordinator.
- Coordinating changes in staff conditions such as transfers, promotions, additional allowance etc.
- Providing support to the People and Culture Manager in conducting investigations and supporting the EBA negotiation process and grievance and dispute process
- Creating and updating any required reports including monthly HR board reports
- Annual WGEA reporting coordination and responsibilities
- Assisting with the management of Employee Milestones and recognition awards
- Engaging with line managers to conduct employee inductions and on-boarding processes.
- Advise employees and management on termination and severance benefits
