Your new role
As part of your role as HVAC engineer, you will be involved with transmission load calculations, HVAC System duct layout design including pressure and noise calculations, HVAC system equipment selection including coil selection, control philosophy and transversals requirements compliance. You will also be involved with Set to Work, Duct System Balancing and System Commissioning.
This role will also involve a 12-month secondment to the UK, where you will gain exposure to the defence program, and go through training and technical development. Once you return to Australia, it is expected that you will be well-equipped to guide, develop and offer technical leadership to others.

What you'll need to succeed
You must hold Australian Citizenship to be eligible for this opportunity due to defence industry requirements.
You will have sound existing experience as HVAC engineer in the areas of:
- Transmission load calculations
- HVAC System duct layout design including pressure and noise calculations
- HVAC System equipment selection including coil selection
- Control philosophy
- Transversals requirements compliance (highly regarded)
- Set to Work, Duct System Balancing and System Commissioning
- You must be able to commit to 12 months in the United Kingdom.
- Candidates with experience in the marine / offshore industry would be highly regarded.
- Those from a building services engineering consultancy background may also be suitable.
