ICT Support Technician
Reporting to the IT Services Manager, you will be responsible for providing IT support to our dealerships across QLD both remotely and on-site. This role will see you working directly with the existing IT Support team delivering day-to-day IT support in a professional and efficient manner.
As an ICT Support Technician, you will:
- Respond to inquiries from users, identify and resolve technical problems or malfunctions with software, hardware, system configurations or network systems.
- Install, configure and maintain hardware components like computers, printers, routers, switches, and peripherals.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to software applications, operating systems, and other programs.
- Assist in maintaining and troubleshooting network connections, ensuring connectivity, and resolving network-related issues such as internet connectivity problems or LAN/WAN issues.
- Assist in routine maintenance tasks such as software updates, system checks, and equipment inventory management.
- Take an active role in maintaining and improving efficient use of applications and equipment.
- Providing remote assistance via phone, email, or chat to troubleshoot issues or guide users through problem-solving steps.
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- Tertiary qualifications in information technology, programming or business.
- 3 or more years of experience in a similar role
- Excellent communication skills
- Enthusiasm for working in a tight-knit team
- Excellent time management and an ability to work to deadlines
- The drive to continue learning in the field
About you:
- A strong understanding of Aruba, Windows, Windows Server, Office 365 and Ticketing systems is required; experience with Azure and AWS is a plus.
- Excellent customer service skills including in-person and over the phone
- Great problem-diagnosis and solving skills
- A preference (and ability) to work independently.
- A current and valid Driver’s Licence
