As a Support Technician you will perform activities associated with installing, maintaining and servicing IT environments and computer-related products, including but not limited to desktop & laptop computers, printers, network devices, standard software, and servers at customer locations or remotely over the phone.

This role is based in Brisbane. You will be expected to work onsite at designated customer sites.

In this position you will be expected to:
- Understand the basic components inside a laptop or desktop computer and perform approved repairs such as replacing the HDD/SSD, upgrading components, etc.…
- Install, configure, test and maintain operating systems, application software and system management tools
- Resolve technical issues involving Microsoft's core business applications and operating systems.
- Provide general IT advice to clients
- Deliver onsite desktop support at client offices across Melbourne
- Liaise with hardware vendors and other IT personnel for problem resolution and warranty claims.
The Successful Applicant will:
- Have a high level of problem-solving skills.
- Have good communication skills both in person and over the phone.
- Have a minimum of 2 years technical experience working in a similar technical role.
- Have at least 2-3 years' experience supporting Windows Desktop O/S (Windows 7 to 11).
- Have good knowledge of LAN and WAN and WIFI networks
- Be self-motivated and able to work as part of a team.
- Be reliable, punctual and well presented.
- Have a valid driver's license and the legal right to work in Australia.
Schedule and Offer:
- Full time equivalent of 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday
- Salary: $60,000.00 – $70,000.00 per year + Super + Benefits
