ICT Systems Engineer

We are currently seeking an experienced ICT Systems Engineer to join our team for a 6 -10 months contract role based in South Australia.

Key Responsibilities:

• Minimum 6-8 years of experience in ICT System Engineering to design, implement and maintain systems infrastructure.
• Demonstrate strong expertise in Virtualization technologies including VMware, SAN, storage, Backup systems and Cloud solutions.
• Manage ITIL service management processes and contribute to IT system life cycle planning.
• Highly experienced in managing and maintaining IT Systems firmware, software, configurations, and architecture to remove or mitigate cyber or business-related risks.
• Maintain and manage IT Systems life-cycle planning.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
• VMware / MCSE or relevant Certifications
• Proven experience with Virtualization technologies: VMware, SAN, storage, Backup systems and Cloud solutions.
• Familiarity with ITIL service management and IT system life cycle planning.
• Understanding of ICT contract and vendor management.
• Knowledge of project management methodologies as well as ICT contract and vendor management.
• Preference to have experience working in Industrial, Mining OR Construction settings.

Additional Details:

• FIFO (fly-in-fly-out) to site in South Australia.
• Choose between: 08 days work / 06 days off OR 04 days work / 03 days off
• Days on site are 12 hours.
• Hourly Rate Guide: $65 - $75 + Super / GST
