The Opportunity

Are you passionate about delivering top-notch Technical Support in a dynamic and collaborative environment?

As the Technical Support Officer, reporting to the Technical Support Team Leader, you will play a crucial role in providing broad-ranging support to users across all Harvest Road companies, utilising a range of tools (including the production environment and software) to troubleshoot and resolve issues of moderate complexity across the organisations’ ICT environment.

The Role

• Receives and handles requests for support following agreed procedures.
• Responds to requests for support by providing information to enable incident resolution and promptly allocates unresolved calls as appropriate.
• Maintains records and advises relevant persons of actions taken.
• Utilise appropriate tools and methods to address user support queries and return user’s ICT systems to optimum efficiency.
• Manage set-up of ICT devices and systems. Monitor their performance to limit or prevent loss of service to end users.
• Create and maintain support documentation to assist others in restoring services and reduce the impact of unplanned outages.
• Balance competing demands to ensure Service Level Agreements are met.
• Develop and maintain knowledge and technical capability across diverse and dynamic hardware, technologies, platforms, and applications.
• Foster a supportive work environment by supporting, coaching, and collaborating to achieve team outcomes.

Selection Criteria

To be successful in this role, you will need:

• Minimum 2 Years’ experience in a similar role
• Suitable qualifications i.e., Diploma in IT and/or relevant certifications e.g., CompTIA, Cisco, VMWare, and Microsoft
• Possession of a current Class C Driver’s License
• Knowledge of Microsoft Windows Server and Desktop operating systems
