Northparkes will celebrate 30 years of operations in 2024 and is known for innovative technology and committed people. Northparkes uses multiple mining methods including open pit, sub-level caving and was the first mine in Australia to use the block cave mining method. Our ICT Technician:
Our ICT team is responsible for the organisation's technical, functional and information management business processes. You will be the first point of contact at Northparkes Mines for customer ICT incident requests and information. This will include attending the service desk and second level technical support tasks.
In this role you will ensure the ICT infrastructure and applications are functioning as efficiently as possible, this will include configuring and maintaining as well as developing necessary improvements of the server, network and various other ICT infrastructure. You will be responsible for maintaining security and workflow within a SAP environment, Active Directory administration, face to face incident management with our workforce and administrative duties.
This is a permanent, full-time opportunity, based in the Parkes region of NSW. The successful applicant will possess the following essential criteria:
- Qualifications and/or experience in an IT or Telecommunications discipline
- Certification in Microsoft 365 and SAP experience would be advantageous
- Strong written and interpersonal skills
- Proven ability to demonstrate problem solving skills using initiative and flexibility
