We are based in Merewether NSW. We provide patient’s access to leading specialists in Endocrinology, Diabetes, Nutrition, Clinical Research and we also have a Behavioural Paediatrician who is independent to the centre.
Our clinic is growing and we’re looking for someone to support and compliment our team. You will be responsible for front desk operations as well as assisting our Practice Manager, marketing and administration of the clinic.
The Position
We are seekinga Casual experienced Medical Receptionist to join our team, working approximately 20 hours a week over 3-4 days as well as the flexibility to cover sick and annual leave as required. There will also be the opportunity to work additional hours depending on practice workload. working days will include Monday - Friday between 8am and 6pm.
Ability to be flexible and available if and when required. MUST BE AVAILABLE THE MONTH OF AUGUST WORKING MON-THUR 8HRS A DAY.
You will need to demonstrate:
- Exceptional customer and communication skills, working with all age groups
- Answering phones, meeting and greeting patients and general front desk reception duties
- A flexible, problem solving, self-motivated attitude
- Proven ability to work well in a team, and independently
- Exceptional organisational and multi-tasking skills
- Communication with multiple doctors, and staff
- Well-developed knowledge of the health care environment across multiple speciality disciplines
- Strong IT and computer skills within a medical setting, including troubleshooting problems
- creating marketing material for social media
- Any other tasks as directed by the Office Manager
Desirable Criteria:
- A good knowledge of Genie or Xestro software would be an advantage
- Managing of private billings, Medicare and DVA claims, also billing using HICAPS and EFTPOS
