Your new company
Hays Technology in Geelong are currently partnered with a leading public sector organisation in Warrnambool, VIC. We are seeking to appoint IT Project Manager on an 18 month full-time fixed term role. This will be a hybrid role working from home and Warrnambool office location.
Your new role
In this role, you will be responsible for the supporting and co-ordinating supplier implementation aspects of the Project which includes Salesforce Energy & Utilities Cloud, Gentrack Billing and MuleSoft integration. You will be involved in the implementation of customer focussed business change and transformation initiative programs.
Key accountabilities will be:
- Implementing complex program of customer-focused business change and transformation initiatives.
- Leading and managing the project’s internal implementation stream within Digital Services.
- You will be applying structured project management methodologies and process (Prince2/ Agile) to create project plans and schedules aligned with supplier plans.
- Managing project risk, issues and governance.
- Defining and measuring success metrics and monitor implementation progress
- Generate and produce weekly stream project report.
- Working closely with Project Management / Digital Services and Cross functional team to achieve required outcomes.
- Liaising with external vendors, consultant and partner organizations.
What you'll need to succeed
To be considered for this role, you will have:
- Demonstrated experience in Project Management focusing on digital system implementations.
- Relevant tertiary qualifications in Project Management / Prince 2 Practitioner will be highly regarded
- Demonstrated experience in project planning tools such as MS Project, Excel and PowerPoint to develop graphical project schedules and reports.
- Demonstrated experience in Salesforce, MuleSoft, Gentrack will be regarded
- Excellent communication skills and stake holder management skills.
- Excellent Negotiation and Presentation skills.
- Certified PRINCE2 Agile highly desired
- Experience working in an agile environment.
