As a member of the HICT - Strategy, Information Management and Governance Office (SIMGO), the Information Management Support Officer will assist and support the Compliance and Governance team in the planning, coordination and delivery of project activities and outputs associated with the successful delivery of CM expansion within the Department of Health.
The Role:
- Support the Manager Compliance & Governance, Information Management Specialist and Information Management Business Analyst in areas including records management, digital transformation and information governance.
- Prepare and provide training in a range of Information Management and administrative tasks using CM and related tools.
- Undertake, or assist with, the preparation, coordination, updating and distribution of project documentation including project plans, business cases, reports, correspondence, agendas and minutes.
- Respond to client enquiries and provide accurate information and advice to stakeholders on policies, procedures and legislative frameworks related to Information Management.
- Assist in the administration of the Department’s electronic document and records management system.

The Compliance & Governance team:
- The Compliance & Governance team supports corporate records and Information Management for the department by administrating Open Text Content Manager 10 (CM).
- It is a small, dedicated team of IM professionals, and has been tasked with delivering improved use of CM across the department, we focus on a support-based approach using best practice.
- This position will work as part of a small, dedicated team implementing improved Information Management business process across a variety of business areas.
- This role's purpose is to support the Information Specialist and Information Management Business Analyst to deliver Improved Information Management processes.
Details of Appointment
Fixed term full time day worker position working 76 hours per fortnight, commencing as soon as possible for a period of six months.
*notwithstanding hours may be negotiated with the successful applicant
- Applicants should note that, for a period of twelve months from the date of publication, this selection process may be used to fill subsequent or similar full time and part time vacancies.
Salary: $79,529 - $91,517 per annum. Our Employer 11% superannuation contribution is on top of this amount.
- Salary range is in accordance with Public Sector Unions Wages Agreement 2022
